Powered by a 72V system (84V max), it delivers strong acceleration and sustained high-output performance suited to experienced riders.

This is not a learner’s bike. Performance is on par with similar-size petrol bikes. Due to its high top speed, strong acceleration, overall weight, and outer dimensions, we recommend riders aged 16+. The frame size and wheelbase is comparable to a 85cc 2-stroke bike.

Performance & Key Features

The TAKANI TK1714-70 72V electric dirt bike is built around a high-output platform designed for serious off-road use.

At its core is a state-of-the-art encoder-controlled brushless DC mid-drive motor, delivering up to 8000W peak power and adjustable torque up to 240Nm. Power is transferred through a traditional reduction gear system to the 14-inch rear wheel, reaching speeds of up to 80km/h, while remaining controllable through three selectable speed settings (45 / 65 / 80 km/h). There is no gear or clutch operation. Its fully automatic. Twist the throttle and go.

The premium 35Ah lithium battery system, built with genuine Samsung cells, provides approximately 60 minutes of runtime and is fully swappable for practical extended riding sessions using spare batteries.

The fully automatic transmission means: No clutch operation; No gear shifting, No foot braking. Simply twist the throttle for instant torque and control speed using handlebar brakes — intuitive and direct.

Compared to petrol bikes, the TK1714-70 is lighter and features a low centre of gravity, allowing for nimble handling and easier transport. Without engine noise, fuel smell, or burn risk, it delivers a different type of riding experience while maintaining strong performance capability.

Built using standard-dimension motorcycle componentry, the TK1714-70 allows compatibility with a wide range of aftermarket mechanical upgrades, including suspension, wheels, tyres, brakes, handlebars, sprockets and chain.
