Australia's highest powered electric balance bike. Designed for youngsters aged 5-10, this little ripper runs on a brand new 52V system and packs 350 Watts of power (optional 700W peak). A platform that performs.

The TK1652-RS continues to be our flagship model. For 2025, we have left no stone unturned and this new generation bike offers several upgrades over the previous TK1648-RS model:

  • Increase of voltage, speed and acceleration 
  • a hot-swappable 52V battery with 180Wh
  • improved throttle modulation
  • stiffer frame and fork
  • improved stem design with dual sealed bearings
  • new seat post bracket for more ergonomic settings
  • new wiring harness for better water resistance and decreased service time 
  • all new controller and software for ultimate efficiency and control
  • new, bigger foot-rest, manufactured of fibre reinforced nylon for highest impact resistance

You can further upgrade the TK1652-RS with a 700W racing controller (Samford EMX) for higher torque and max. speed of 35km/h, a front brake kit (Samford EMX), a new raised and wider aluminum handlebars (Samford EMX) and a MX-style full throttle.

Along with a new range of exciting colours and a quirky 'e-leet' graphic, this bike remains a 'looker' that performs.

Riding the TAKANI 16 inch electric balance bike is a fun outdoor activity for kids. It is a great way to support young riders  to develop balance, motor skills, throttle control, brake feeling and hand-eye coordination. A perfect first step before progressing with a traditional dirt bike....or just to 'zoooom' around in the backyard.

Adjust it to the speed setting you like. Let the rider gain confidence according to their skill level. TAKANI products are built with durability and performance in mind. The balance bike features a state of the art, brushless 'high speed' and 'high torque' hub motor with little moving parts that can break. Focused on safety, we have fully integrated the juicy 52V lithium battery into the frame. This is to protect from the elements, bumps, dirt and to optimise the bike's centre of gravity. Rest assured, with a minimum run time of 1hour the ride does not end too soon, but in line with your youngsters (and parents!) attention span.

I bought 1 and loved it so I bought another because they are awesome next model up too. The kids love them and there a great transition from pedal bike to motorbike. They get so much fun out of them definitely worth it. I hope one day there will be a 20 inch released in the near future.

Thoroughly impressed!! My 6yr old has ridden it on the slowest speed, on grass, for close to 2hrs and I haven't had to recharge it yet! We bumped it up to level 2 and her smile grew by a mile as she felt the speed. We've been out riding it 3 times so far and still waiting for the battery to drain completely. It's heavier than what I expected, but looks like it can handle a lot of use. Looks like she'll have a lot of years of fun ahead of her.

My five year old absolutely loves this bike. We take it on our local MTB trails and he blast up the up tracks the same pace as I do on my electric bike. The bike is super capable on the down hill, which has given him heaps of confidence to improve his riding. I wish these were around when I was a kid.

Great electric bike for our 3.5 year old. We sized up and got the 16inch so he could grow into it. He is riding it with ease. He absolutely loves his electric bike — it’s easy to control, the suspension is a bonus for dirt tracks and gives just the right amount of speed to make it exciting but still safe. He doesn’t know about the top speed yet and thinks the middle is it(It’s plenty fast enough for now). The battery lasts surprisingly well, and it’s been great for park rides or around the caravan park. Definitely a fun first “motorbike” for little ones! The colour is great too! I think it’s more of a sage green we love it!

I bought this for Christmas for my 6 year old son and it's his favourite thing outside of video games. The bike was so easy to put together and have running in under an hour. My son spent about 1-2 hours on lowest speed before moving onto medium speed and that has been enough for over a month. We haven't even tried full speed yet. Well made and well running bike.
