For 2026 TAKANI have upgraded the 12 inch balance bike. The bike suits 3-5 years old riders.
In addition to previous versions, the bike features several enhancements. We have added a front suspension with 40mm of travel, optimised for young riders, who want to bring the bike to its limits. The juicy 24V battery is now quick swappable (without tool usage). Your youngster can now ride all day long or follow you on single trails without charging breaks. You can charge spare batteries inside or outside the bike's frame for ultimate flexibility.
We have increased power and top speed, reaching a top speed of 25km/h (in the highest speed setting ) with a peak torque at 350 Watts. The wiring and controller have been upgraded with external waterproof connectors making component upgrades or changing a tyre a job of literally minutes.
You can also equipped the TK1224-RS with some exciting accessories of it's bigger version, the TK1652-RS. For example, the larger footrest, increased height handlebars, optional full MX throttle can be added to this little ripper and extends another 1-2 year ride time out of this bike. Due to its clever design all job can be completed in minutes by busy parents.

This electric balance bike is designed for 3-5 years old children. It is a great way to help your little one to develop balance, motor skills, throttle control and hand-eye coordination from an early age.
For 2026 we have kept all safety features for parents' peace of mind. We have also included a 'coasting' (or 'kick-start' ) function in the lowest speed setting. This is a balance training booster and safety function at the same time.
Essentially the throttle will only engage the motor when your youngster is balancing and rolling. This feature reduces the risk of falls and 'wonky' starts from standstill. This function also causes a faster learning curve for riders that are still practicing their balance, because they will only get rewarded by motorised joy when they bring the bike into a stable and rolling position.
When your child masters the above, then (in the highest speed setting) the bike accelerates by throttle action to 25km/h... just like a little dirt bike.
